An employee was very rude to me at the end of my stay. I had requested an extended check out due to work. (I travel for work and schedules often change). I got off work on my day of check out at 5pm. My drive back to the hotel was 30 minutes. And at 6pm a gentleman informed me that I either needed to leave or pay for another night. I left at about 6pm and the gentleman told me I needed to provide a credit card in MY name for the extended stay because the hotel was booked with a company credit card. Even though I left that evening by 630pm, the company credit card was still charged for an additional night. I have no other complaints about the facility other than the way I was treated by that gentleman.

The room was damp, the walls in the bathroom had water damage around the shower. The room should have never been rented out with the mattress that was on the bed. It was a king size bed and on the one side there was a big hole with some tears in the mattress. The day and afternoon desk clerks we not friendly or very helpful. I have checked into a lot of RV camp grounds and the desk check in has been 100% better. I would like to see some improvements because this is in my town and I would want people to think Morris is a great little town.

I hate to write this review due to the fact the staff that helped when I checked in and out were very helpful and friendly. Upon arriving I noticed the hotel was dirty and much older than the photos I saw posted. When we got up to our rooms I turned on the light and I saw what looked like a cockroach crawling up the wall. I was so disgusted and immediately went to talk to the clerk at the desk and show him the photo I took. He kindly offered to switch my room. I did not want to stay there but it was late and wasn't given the option for a refund so I could go elsewhere. On top of it all the television would not work. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and strongly encourage patrons to stay at another hotel.
