The lodge is next to a creek and the sound of it is relaxing. It's an older hotel, yet the rooms are clean and comfortable. We walked through Jack London State Park (a few minutes by car) which was beautiful and serene. Our Breakfast at the nearby Les Pascals Patisserie was like going to France.
