I called several "pet friendly" hotels in the Savannah area to ask about rates. It seemed that I was put through to "central reservations" each hotel I called. The response for the Indigo was that the pet fee was $20/night. This was less than other hotels, so I asked the person making the reservation to repeat the rate, then asked his name to confirm. I was sent a confirmation on the reservation that I showed when checking in to the hotel. I was told there that the fee was $125. My emailed reservation had not included the pet fee. The hotel clerk said that the "central reservation" team was often from out of the country and often made mistakes. The experience was very unpleasant the hotel should not employ a reservation team that gives erroneous information. The check in clerk and concierge were both nice, but the hotel could have been cleaner.

Hotel was find, But I have been trying to contact Hotel Planner for a week, Every time I called I had to leave a message for someone to call me back but never received a call back. When I received my confirmation the total showed $ 263.00 for 2 Days, when Hotel Planner debited my account $435.00, I would like for someone to contact me as soon as possible, I will not let this go and will report this to the proper authority. "Location is great but hotel seems to have gone down"

Great location but we stayed here 3 years ago and it was much better. The bathrooms were a bit gross - visible mold on the bathmat and live bugs on the floor. Breakfast is a madhouse; don't think your price includes it unless you feel like circling around trays of food that are empty two minutes after they've been filled. They did a better job 3 years ago when a girls volleyball team and their parents were all there! The king suites are nice and very roomy but recommend reserving well in advance (more that 3 months) if you want to get one without a hassle.
