This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to visit downtown Silver City and its fabulous art scene! My only complaint is that they seem to be really stingy about providing enough sources of protein with their free breakfast. Each morning we were there, we tried to eat in their breakfast area but the lack of bacon, sausage,or even eggs forced us elsewhere. Too many carbs were offered, instead. We are athletic and went biking and hiking while in Silver City so we needed the sustaining power of protein.

In 2005,restoration began at the Murray to bring it back to its original Streamline Moderne majesty, retaining as many historical features as possible while adding Green, energy-efficient systems for guest comfort. Re-opened in 2012, our 53 guest rooms and suites now host guests from around the World!
