A Piece of the Past in Modern Day. I love this hotel. It is nostalgic, with many old time feels, in an updated and refreshed decor. The staff is extremely friendly. The hotel is very clean and inviting. It has great walkability to the downtown area and all of the shops. Definitely rank as a top favorite!

When it opened in 1938, the Murray Hotel immediately became known as the standard for Art Deco luxury and elegance in southern New Mexico. In 2005,restoration began at the Murray to bring it back to its original Streamline Moderne majesty, retaining as many historical features as possible while adding Green, energy-efficient systems for guest comfort. Re-opened in 2012, our 53 guest rooms and suites now host guests from around the World!
