Floors are filthy, top blanket has stains or dirt on it. Bathroom floor and walls are dirty. Toilet seat has cigarette burn marks I think.

The motel was obviously older then what the pictures depicted. The room was way smaller then it appeared in the photos, There was mold on the shower curtain. With the furnishings it was very difficult to move around the room. The king size bed was your biggest area for having much room at all. They offer coffee but I didn't find a continental breakfast. If there was it was not advertised well.

The place was filthy; the towels were dirty and should have been thrown out; the comforter on the bed was smelly; the television half worked; overall the place needs a thorough cleaning that includes walls and floors. Also, the showe curtains require replacing.

The room was dirty, there was no garbage can, the light bulb in one lamp was only connected by the wires! There was less than half a roll of toilet paper. The fridge did not work. The bath tub did not drain. Two towels and one wash cloth. The pillows smelled and were flat. The sheets were dirty. After discovering this. we could not find another room anywhere! So we stayed. This will never happen again! EVER!

"Too many people with their pets in their rooms."

The first room I was given the smell was so bad I could hardly breath. It had a strong odor of cat urine. The second room was not as strong but did not smell fresh at all. I was disappointed with the parking. Nearby residents said they were holding parking places for friends. This did not allow me to park near my room at all. Needless to say I will not stay there again. Nor will I tell anyone to.

Southlake Mall, Deep River Water Park, Star Plaza Theater, Lake County Fairgrounds, Porter County Fairground, and the Indiana State Dunes are nearby. McCormick Place and Downton Chicago are only 30 miles from this hotel. This Red Roof is conveniently located near a variety of restaurants. All business king rooms and accessible rooms have a microwave & refrigerator. All rooms offer free WiFi, flat screen TV, and clock radio. Free coffeehouse-style coffee and tea in the lobby. One well-behaved family pet per room is welcome.
