I did not really come in contact with the staff. The one I met at the front desk was pleasant. The iron in the room was not working and the bath tub was clogged. When the plumber fixed the bath tub, he put all the junk in the toilet and forgot to flush. He walked out of the room with dirty gloves on into the building elevator. Overall, my stay was good.

Booked our room with the hotel planner. As we completed transaction for the Hyatt, the last room was booked by someone else. The hotel planner was able to book a room at the LaQuinta Inn for us in the same area at similar price. Sent a confirmation to my e mail. Forgot to tell her we would be arriving late. There was no direct phone number on confirmation paper. Spent 15 minutes trying to locate phone number. Please have hotel planners include this information. Would have been very helpful. Our check in was great. Jen was very pleasant and helpful. She even helped find my rewards account and added our stay. Our room was nice. We had a king size bed. I wish the vanity was bigger. Liked the wood planked floor/ carpet. Used both the refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was good. Again front desk very pleasant. Only other comment is housekeeping needs to dust more and mop the wood looked floor.

I stayed two nights. I checked in at 1:45 am and even though I was the only one checking in at that time, it took awhile. My room smelled like cigarette smoke the whole time I was there despite several complaints to the front desk. The room was never cleaned by housekeeping despite paying for two nights. The elevator is the oldest, slowest thing around to service a five floor hotel. It hasn't had a cleaning in years. The breakfast was good and replenished frequently. All in all I should have crossed the parking lot to stay at the Marriott.
