"Started good, ended bad."

I called the 601 number and asked a man if I could use my credit card to pay for some other people's stay (without me being there). He said that would be OK, I gave him the credit card info, my people arrived and stayed three days and checked out Monday morning. All good. Then one of my people called me saying they needed an extra day in the area. I called the 601 number, talked to a different man than before, gave him the credit card info. He was trying to tell me things that I couldn't hear very well on the phone. Eventually either he hung up or we got disconnected. About that time my people arrived at the hotel and the woman at the desk told them they could not check in without me being there to present the credit card. I called the 601 number again but this time did not get the man, but got the desk clerk. So I told her to cancel it all and my people went to a different hotel, where they emailed me a form to approve use of my credit card and let my people check in. I don't understand why the first stay at Super8 worked fine, no problems and the second with exactly the same need on my part was impossible to arrange. This is Jim Haynes, owner of the credit card. The persons staying were Larry Williams, Myrtle Hunter and Anesha Williams.
