I've stayed at this particular location several times since 2023. The price is not bad, especially for all the amenities the rooms have and the staff is friendly. The hotel is always clean and if there's a problem they'll handle it right away. Had a problem with the TV in my room on one stay and because they couldn't fix it, they put me into another room and offered me an extra night and sincerely apologized. I'd recommend this hotel if you're looking for a nice hotel for a good price.

Our Merrillville extended stay hotel is conveniently located near I-65 and East 81st Avenue. Our friendly, welcoming staff is available to help ensure you are satisfied with your visit. With nightly, weekly and monthly hotel rates, you can rest easy knowing you are getting a good value. Every suite includes a full kitchen, complete with microwave oven, cooktop, full-size refrigerator and freezer, and a prep sink additional kitchen items are available at the front desk for a cost. Keep up with your exercise routine while on the road at our on-site fitness center, and guest laundry facilities help you stay comfortable. If you want to bring your four-legged family member, we also offer pet-friendly rooms. Long-stay guests receive housekeeping services every other week. Free basic WiFi and free parking make a stay at WoodSpring Suites an even better value. Methodist Southlake Hospital, St. Mary Medical Center, Southlake Mall, Indiana University Northwest and Valparaiso University. Gary, IN is also just a short drive away. Service, assistance animals are welcome at no additional charge, must be registered at front desk. Limit of 2 dogs, under 50 lbs per room. No cats. Non-refundable pet fees, 50 USD pet reg. fee, 5 USD per room per night charge for the duration of the stay.
