Although I had to travel to Charlotte on a very sad occasion, I felt very welcomed and was treated very well at the Fairfield Inn by Marriot Arrowood. The hotel and room were very clean and me being an asthmatic, I was so impressed of how the carpet was vacuumed and very clean. I did not hear any noise and my room was totally smoke free. There were three staff members who I must give a shout out to. Thank you to Janie who took the time to check me in and check me out very promptly and provided me a number to a car service, since I was having trouble getting an Uber. Thank you, Syrita, who told me local places to eat and provided me a charger for my phone since my charger had died and Thank you to the lady who provided a beautiful and delicious Sunday morning breakfast on July 13. The eggs were not salty, the coffee was delicious, everything was displayed so nicely. THANK YOU ALL for making me feel welcome and adding comfort during my grief. I highly welcome this hotel.

Called to make night reservation during 10 hr drive time. Was told our 10lb dog was allowed so paid for non refundable reservation. When we got to hotel, found that dogs were not allowed. Had to find a other hotel at 9:00pm. Eas out $189+ for the night and was told verbally that I would not receive a refund for 10 days, but no email as backup. Not impressed with this hotel chain.

Called Fairfield on line reservations while traveling. They told me that could bring our 10lb dog do I made a non refundable reservation, only to find out at the hotel (9:00pm) that dogs were not allowed we had to find a other hotel late at night and they would not refund my money for approx 10 days. I only have a verbal and no email for the refund. Wasn't happy with the mis information and will not consider Fairfield in the future.
