Booked over cell while traveling, major mistake!Lady told us within walking distance to isle of capri casino.Casinos been closed for storm damage for long time! Hotel under repair also,outside siding being replaced,most resteraunts in area closed for repairs,room was needing repairs,not very clean!breakfast was good though and clerk at front was friendly.way overpriced!

The good: the room is spacious and clean. Check in was easy with covid precautions taken. The bad: parts are under construction. There is NO free breakfast due to Covid. Nothing around that area in the way of good restaurants.

We arrived at approximately 10p on August 5th. The room was dirty, the moldy stench was horrific, clock torn out of wall, refrig broken, bed not changed, holes in bathroom wall. Reported to hotel mgr Paul Almond and requested owner of facility, Paul Singh, to refund total fee by 12pm 8 6. No response. Reported to Lake Charles Board of Health, BBB, Google, FB and all media outlets along with pictures for support. Call and documents/pictures will be provided to LaQuinta Corporate.

This hotel was hit by a storm/hurricane. They did not disclose this on their website. All the amenities are out of service and half of the building is destroyed. After 15 he drive I would like to pull in and wash clothes but no, not Here.

I arrived and the clerk said the elevator did not work but was being repaired soon. The next morning it still did not work and I told the clerk I hurt my back bringing my suitcase down the stairs and she laughed at me. I told her it wasn't funny and she laughed again. That is no way to treat a senior citizen.
