The front desk personal were not helpful and rude (male). We're locked out of our rooms the first day for a two day stay. The room was very small. No chairs to sit on except a desk chair that needed to be replaced. No leather left on the chair. The air conditioner was very loud, hard to sleep. As long as the door light was on the electricity worked on the lamp, once it was turned off none of the outlets on the lamp worked nor did the lamp work. The so call breakfast was a laugh! Only cereal, toast, Mini muffins, waffles, pastries only carbs no protein! No fruit! Not a good choice for athletics nor diabetics. Could not drive up to the door had to find a parking place first to register. The front of the hotel was blocked off with concrete poles. The tub was a danger zone. To step into the tub to take a shower it was very slippery, with only one low rail that could be used to get out of the tub. The refrigerator worked but was taped on the top. The furniture was all marked up or pieces of the wood chucked out. The bed was clean. Glad I was only in that room for very few hours each day because it would of been terrible to be in there much longer. I have to say that the girl that was at the desk on the last day explained why we could not have a discount on seniors and AARP or AAA was because I had paid for the room when I booked. They say since I paid before I arrived they could not give me discounts?.

The Ramada Northwest Hotel is conveniently located at the junction of California Hwy 99 and Shaw Avenue. Our location places us close to all that there is to see and do in the Fresno Area including the Forestiere Underground Garden, Fresno Chaffee Zoo, Island Water Park, Kearney Park, Pioneer Village, Woodward Park and Airways Golf Course. The SaveMart Center, just a short drive away, The Ramada Fresno Hotel is in the heart of Californias Central Valley Wine Country. Visit many nearby wineries including Nonini Winery, E. J. Gallo, Englemann Cellars, Cribari Vineyards, Golden State Vintners, Vino 100, Milla Vineyards and Black Crowe Vineyards. Fresno is home to the California State University of Fresno - GO BULLDOGS. The Ramada Fresno Hotel is a short drive from Yosemite International Airport, Chandler Executive Airport, Valley Childrens Hospital, St. Agnes Medical Center, Fresno Heart Hospital, Kaiser Permanente and Madera Community Hospital.
