The hotel is located just off Hwy 36 near some big name companies and the University of Colorado. The property is close to many restaurants and Greenbriar Inn, an elegant restaurant, tavern and private event space. The hotels amenities include a fitness center, seasonal outdoor pool, year round outdoor hot tub and free Express Start hot breakfast offering omelets, bacon and sausage and of course the signature cinnamon rolls. There are 106 guest rooms located on three floors in interior hallways and equipped with a 32 inch HD cable TV with HBO, a microwave and fridge and free high speed Internet access as well as a work desk with level electrical outlets and free local and toll free calling. The windows in the rooms do open. A Business Center for the working guest is available for copying, email, Internet and printing. The Holiday Inn also wants their guests to stay fit and use the treadmill, stair climber, or life cycle elliptical cross trainer. The fitness center is open 24 hours. Guests may also use an extensive off site Center. Average charge is $15.00. After the work out the hotel has an outdoor pool for relaxing swim.

The hotel is clean, convenient and comfortable. We live close, have often had friends or relatives stay here. This time we are in the middle of a bathroom remodel, convenient to stay there ourselves at a critical plumbing juncture.

Two days in a row, my key did not work on my lock. I went to the front desk both times. It was taken care of after the second time. The breakfast was good but the coffee was not. All employees were friendly and respectful. Pool area was nice; gym was clean and well stocked for a small area.

Let's be real sometimes you need a vacation without going far. I live just a few blocks from this hotel and booked a very needed getaway my body, mind and spirit were on total depletion. I have to say my stay was everything I needed. A clean room, comfortable bed, tub big enough for a really hot bath, ability to open the window a few inches for fresh air and coffee in the morning all for a price that does not break the bank. The coffee was a little dull and bland, but hey there's a legit coffee shop across the street if you are picky.
