Welcome to the rebuilt and reimagined Outdoors Inn, the only lodging in the Sandpoint-area to boast a 5-star rating on Google. We've taken one of Sandpoint's original hotels and transformed it into a unique and truly North Idaho experience: modern but rustic, rugged but comfortable. Using locally-sourced materials and hand-forged features, we've brought a little bit of the outdoors into each room.We're located just 1 mile north of Sandpoint and minutes from both Schweitzer Mountain and Lake Pend Oreille. We offer the park-outside-your-door convenience of a motel, with luxury touches of higher-end hotels, such as plush mattresses, 100% cotton linens, blazing-fast free WIFI, and smart TVs with unlimited streaming options. We have kitchenette rooms, rooms with extra-large jacuzzi tubs, and the most generous dog-policy in town. We're also family-owned and operated, and personally committed to ensuring that your stay is delightful.Our small motel -- we have just 12 rooms -- is the perfect place to accommodate members of your wedding party, family reunion, work retreat, or club.We're far from fancy -- we're a roadside motel, after all -- but we guarantee a stylishly good night's sleep with easy access to all the adventure that North Idaho has to offer.

We are dog- friendly and allow up to two dogs in all rented rooms EXCEPT our rooms with jacuzzi-style hot tubs. Sorry... NO CATS OR OTHER TYPES OF PETS ARE ALLOWED. The size limit for any one dog shall be 75 pounds. Additional dogs, larger dogs, and other pet types (e.g. cats) may be allowed ONLY with the hotel’s approval prior to arrival. The pet-friendly rate is $25 for the FIRST pet, per stay up to 7 days; each additional pet will incur a $10 per stay, up to 7 days fee. If damage occurs or excessive cleaning is needed, you agree that we may charge the credit card on file, at our discretion, up to a maximum of $500 to cover pet-related damage. Pets may not be left unattended in rooms or cars. Pets must be leashed while on the hotel property. Guests are responsible for cleaning after their pets. Service pets may accompany guests with disabilities. Please understand that should your pet disturb other hotel guests, the hotel will have no choice but to refuse further accommodation for your pet.
