"Tiny rooms, insufficient shuttle availability, overpriced."
Overall Score2.0/ 5
We decided to select a hotel for our last night in New York City at Comfort Inn, after a fabulous 3wk north American holiday. Unfortunately the room was absolutely minuscule with barely any room to shuffle around the beds and absolutely no where to place our suitcases on the floor. The bathroom always has a wet floor due to some leak in the shower. When we checked in we were told the 8am shuttle was full and couldn't fit our family of 4, so the man at the front desk advised they would put on an 830am shuttle. After an interrupted sleep, fire to outside noise, we went down to enjoy some breakfast before getting on the shuttle, only to be told by a very unhelpful lady at the front desk that there was no record of us being offered a 830am shuttle and that they couldn't assist. She only offered to call us a taxi! At over $270/ night USD, over $430 AUD, this was definitely over priced and we would never repeat this experience again.
