In 1792, Kentucky became the 15th state and land grants were being offered which started the process of getting a toehold on building a community.

It took a few decades for Bowling Green to become an established hub as a center for commerce and transportation in the area. In 1809, Bowling Green was officially designated as the county seat and in 1812, became incorporated.

We liked that fact that everything is close together. The Corvette Museum was a lot of fun for the whole family. The shopping was great and they had lots of eateries to pick from. It's a great place to spend the weekend and enjoy family and friends.
