"Check In"
Overall score2.0/ 5
the check in was horrible, arrived to find a locked door with note be back in five minutes, don't know how long that note had been up, waited a few minutes and left, came back about three hours later to find the same note on door, sat and waited 7 minutes before desk clerk came back, then the bad part started, had booked a king with two adults, was informed at check in that there would be an additional charge since there were to be two people in room, by this time I am wondering what have I got into and to late to cancel reservation, was charged another 13,?? paid that with cash, did not have much choice at this time, after desk clerk put my change back and I was putting in my purse he says oh I have made a mistake and wanted me to give back all the change, I asked for receipt and was told he could not do this, asked him for a phone nuber where I could contact some one was told I needed a smart phone, told him I did not have one and he proceeded to let me know that the elderly {i am 76} need to know that this is the way to handle these things, I don't think he even thought about a little politeness can go a long way, by the time I got through my room cost was almost 100.oo dollars, NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE. must say that the room was just fine, spacious clean, extremely comfortable bed, if it had not been the rudness of clerk my experience would have been so much better, following this will be talking to Burlington chamber, they ned to know what people can maybe expect. Have been in business most of my life, would never have someone who was rude to public.
