The hotel was a lovely, historic building. It was under renovation/construction but the staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was clean.

We arrived at 2:45 for a 3pm check in. We didn't get a room until 4pm. Not so bad. Went to room and it was a king bed when we booked a double Queen for two adults and a 14 year old. They gave us a roll away bed which was better than nothing but not as promised.

First time I had been at a Hilton Inn since COVID so I was surprised to not have room service unless I requested it. When we woke up the first thing I noticed was that there was coffee for one even though two guests were registered for the room. I had no idea a deposit would be required once I checked in so I did ask what it was for. The reply was all guests were assessed this fee and that it would be returned upon check out. When I checked out I received a receipt with some miscellaneous charges so I immediately went back into the hotel to find out what $61.00 in miscellaneous charges was for since no one had even entered the room to bring fresh towels for the next morning. I had to call for towels and coffee. I was told at that time, the charges were for parking in their garage. At this point I was very upset because when I checked in I asked what the deposit was for and was not apprised of a $30.00 per day/night for using the parking garage. I think I would have appreciated knowing there was a separate fee for using the garage. I am not a satisfied customer and I will think twice about staying there again because of the undisclosed fees.

"Terrible Stay"

We arrive to find we had a King bed for four adults. No other rooms available of course. Bathroom door looked like it had either poop or blood smeared behind the handle on the outside of the door. We got a rollaway Twin bed but we had to set it up and had one sheet with it. I asked front desk for one more sheet and two blankets. we got four FITTED SHEETS!, what were we supposed to do with those? Keener was very nice but "could not do anything because we went through Priceline". I remember booking on their website. I think they use Priceline for a cop out. We will never stay there again.

"Pleasant Stay"

Our room was very comfortable and roomy. Our only complaint is the quality of toilet and tissue paper. Extremely sub-par. Breakfast bar was absolutely delicious one of the better ones we have experienced. Every staff member we encountered were courteous, helpful and friendly. I would recommend this Hilton to anyone. just bring your own toilet paper.

Local Shuttle Info: The downtown trolley route loops through downtown from the Civic Center MetroLink Station, traveling on 14th Street, Spruce Street, Market Street, 4th Street, Broadway, and Washington Avenue to the City Museum before returning on 14th Street to the Civic Center. With the purchase of an all-day pass, customers can get on and off the shuttle all day long at any of the stops for the discounted fare of $2 for adults and $1 for children. The trolleys also accept Metro passes and transfers. Tickets can be purchased on the trolleys or at the MetroRide Center in America?s Center at 7th Street and Washington Avenue. The new downtown trolley service will operate from 5:30 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to midnight on Saturday. Service will reach each stop every 10 minutes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, and every 20 minutes the rest of the time.
