Well I was the victim of air Canada strike for that my original flight was cancelled and I had to extend the stay for five additional days to make to the Saturday new booked flight. This hotel is in great location and easily accessible to waterfront and supermarket. Also it provides spacious room place to make the stay extra comfortable.

I specifically booked this hotel for my 40th birthday as I fell in love with my stay last year..everything from the warm cookies to the hottub and breakfast the next day made last year's stay incredible.. so my husband I booked it for a night expecting the same class and experience. We arrived and the staff was very friendly. the cookies were there..yes. but now kept in a bin on the counter instead of a warming drawer. no big deal these warm cookies were just an added bonus.. get our room it's clean with a perfect view.. went to the waterfront and had a great time. made sure to get back early enough to use the pool and hot tub.. get our swimsuits on and head down only to find out the hottub hasn't worked in a couple months and needs to be replaced.. another shot of disappointment.. I understand things happen so my husband told me to shrug it off. I don't need a hotub to have a good birthday.. we asked if we could move to a suite with a tub as our suite only had a shower. only to be told they didn't have one. I thought if I could have the hottub I could at least have a hot bath. nope. oh well. continued on with our night. the final.dissapointment is when I woke up this morning amd headed down for some breakfast. only to find they don't offer this anymore. the ghost of the juice machine was sitting behind the lobby bar. the buffet counter stayed empty all you could get was coffee or tea. luckily I had a sub left from the night before.. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and definitely seemed like it's gone down hill since last year. although the price hasn't. I most likely won't be staying here again unless it can be returned to its former glory. I do need to mention this is at no fault of the staff. They have all been lovely and understanding. these are just matters out of their hands.
