The Donatello Hotel is a small property - under 100 rooms - that has a very charming, boutique feel. Their main selling point is their giant rooms - some of the largest I've seen in the city (400 square feet of space and 10 foot tall ceilings). All rooms have one king bed, as well as a pull-out queen sofa, and come with a wet-bar and sink, compact refrigerator and microwave. The space and amenities of the rooms make them feel very comfortable and 'homey'. This is a great hotel for first time visitors and families. The hotel has a good location near Union Square, and is attached to a nice Italian restaurant if groups do not feel like venturing out. They have a board room and a 'terrace room' that can host gatherings of 30- 50 people. In general, I would recommend this hotel to any visitors to the city... the charming decor, spacious rooms, and excellent location will make the trip feel comfortable and convenient.
