Little gem in near San Simeon among chains. Quaint, rooms clean and comfortable. For price you get continental breakfast, good night sleep, without all the stuff you didn't need. Everything functions well and everything is well kept or brand new on appearance in room. I'd come back again! Desk and staff nice.

Property Description

The Morgan is the only boutique-style hotel in San Simeon. Heated Pool. Continental breakfast buffet is included in room rates. Cocktail lounge open to guests on Friday and Saturday evenings from May through September, with live entertainment by local singer/songwriters from June through August. Two buildings, each building fully renovated in 2008. Many rooms with fireplaces, some with partial ocean views. (Formerly the Orchid Inn at San Simeon) El Chorlito Mexican Restaurant, serving delicious Californa- and New Mexico-style cuisine, is nestled in between our two buildings. The restaurant has a spacious private banquet room, The Sandpiper's Nest, which can accommodate up to 60 diners.
