Microtel Inn & Suites, Colfax, Iowa is located off of exit 155 on I-80. Microtel is the new hotel in the area and went in to business in summer of 2007. It has two stories with interior corridor and elevator. The accommodations include singles, doubles, and suites. All suites have a Jacuzzi tub, a microwave, a refrigerator, an iron, and a coffee maker. All rooms have queen beds with an expanded TV listing including Showtime and ESPN. All rooms have the new “Dream Well” bedding package. Microtel Colfax offers: free local and long distance calls in the continent of USA; free continental breakfast; free 24 hour coffee; free high speed wireless internet; free incoming fax up to 10 pages; free business center; and 24 hour staffed front desk. Room security includes double locks on the door with peepholes. Fire detection includes smoke alarms and sprinklers in every guest room. Microtel Colfax has separate and exclusive parking lot for trucks, RVs, and other large vehicles. Both 110 and 220 volts plug-ins are available. Pets are allowed for an extra fee. There are several fast food and sit down restaurants with in a mile radius of the hotel.
