Green Sustainability

All our hotels are refurbished buildings. We have achieved up to 45% in carbon savings by renovating old structures. We have effectively avoided the high embodied and operational carbon emissions connected with new builds. Precisely because it is under the ground, Zedwell TCR's infrastructure is more durable, relying on quality materials and prolonging the building’s lifecycle. The soil acts as an even stronger thermal isolator, maximizing the energy efficiency of the building. And finally, as a repurposed car park, the property now hosts people rather than cars. Our windowless rooms are highly energy efficient. The Zedwell Cocoons do not have windows by design. Our insulation technology ensures heat generated within the hotel is held within our walls for much longer. This means our hotels use less electrical energy for heating and cooling annually. We are also committed to reducing waste. Our hotels offer refillable guest room toiletries and self-service stations to help reduce plastic consumption. We also offer a clean-on-request option to incentivize guests to participate in our Go Green Initiative, which only provides room cleanings every four days. This means less water, energy, and pollutants are used across our locations.
