Hotel De Anza may not look like much from the outside, but walking through the front doors really is like walking into a portal to somewhere completely different and exciting. The interiors are boutique-luxury, and the architecture is grand in a way that only comes from older, re-imagined buildings. My two favorite parts were the outdoor patio and the piano lounge that connects to it. Both were classically romantic and had a very "Casa Blanca" vibe to them. This would be a great place to hold a social reception of any kind, and I was told by my tour guide that they are very popular with weddings, which I believe. I was also impressed by the size and style of the sleeping rooms (which also had a retro vibe) as well as their conference rooms. Very often, indoor meeting spaces tend to be non-descript boxes, but these conference rooms actually had style and decoration that complimented the atmosphere. In general, I would recommend this hotel for nearly any group, as their style is unique and their downtown location is pretty perfect.

Hotel De Anza was a very nice place to stay when you're going to a Sharks game. Clean, comfortable rooms that are close to restaurants and the SAP center. We will be back the next time we go to a game.

The Hotel De Anza is conveniently located in downtown San Jose within walking distance to restaurants and attractions. In addition, the hotel is only three miles from the San Jose International Airport for those guests flying into the area. We pride ourselves on being the only luxury boutique hotel in downtown San Jose. Our intimate atmosphere allows our staff to give each guest the special attention you would only expect in a private club.
