Property Description

The Penn's View Hotel is a delightful 51-room hotel overlooking the Delaware River, in historic Old City Philadelphia. Each finely-appointed guest room features Chippendale-style furnishings, Queen/King beds, and private baths. Our Premium guest rooms are outfitted with large baths with Jacuzzi's tubs (some even have working fireplaces). As an extra-added bonus guests are supplied with plush terry bathrobes for their comfort, and all room rates include complimentary wireless Internet throughout the building, muffin and coffee(purchasable)Located on the Lobby level is the famous Ristorante Panorama, a bustling trattoria serving superb, authentic, moderately priced Italian cuisine. A further attraction of the Penn's View Hotel is the dramatic “il bar,” which features the world's largest wine-dispensing system (cruvinet). Each day, in a setting of Florentine tile and hand-painted murals, 120 wines from around the globe are offered by the glass. To sample the vast international selection, “Panoramic flights” are available. “Flights” consist of a tasting of each of five wines in a select group. Up to 20 “Panoramic flights” are offered daily. For the connoisseur, “il bar” has an extensive reserve list of champagne, scotch, grappa, ports and prestigious wines.The new “Stagione” ballroom is conveniently located on the lobby level and is available to host private lunch or dinner functions up to 100 people (for smaller functions our Wine Cellar is available for groups under 40 people). Our conference facilities are ideally suited to host small business meetings of 5 to 60 people. Old world charm in a historic setting, delicious food, and a world-class wine bar all make a visit to the Penn's View Hotel an unforgettable experience with a European flair.
