I checked in on Saturday. Staff was sooooo friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my interaction with them. Accommodations exceeded my expectations. Clean, neat, beautiful ambiance. serene. Loved the lobby. Great place to gather with family to chat. Sunday evening around 9:15pm, I returned from my nephew's wedding, the occasion that brought me to town and my keys wouldn't work in the door to my room. No big deal. I go downstairs and the young lady at the desk reprograms the keys. She wasn't very friendly, but our interaction was so short that I didn't mind that she barely looked at me. I go upstairs and try again. Nothing. No lights on the door at all. I return to the front desk, annoyed, she asks what color was the light on the door. When I remarked that there was no light, she becomes exasperated and sighs loudly. She grabs for the master key and walks towards the elevator. She doesn't tell me to follow her or anything so I'm standing there, confused, but just decide to go along to see if she could get into the room. We reach my room and she tries the master key and nothing happens. Again she sighs. She walks away. I ask, "um, am I supposed to follow you?!" She says she's going back downstairs to call the maintenance guy who isn't on site for the evening to find out what can be done because it's an electrical problem and there's nothing she can do about it. So, both me and my guest follow her downstairs to the lobby. She has to locate the maintenance guy's number, which takes a few minutes; she enlists the help of the other person on duty. Eric and Jason are both off duty, the maintenance guys and she reaches one who says he'll call the other to see if he will come assist. At some point she tells me she can give me another room but I'll have to wait until morning to get my things from my old room. I'm from NY. All of my possessions are in that room: my clothes, my ipad, my wallet with cash and credit cards, toiletries, etc. What was I going to do in another room except lie down in my clothes and sleep? My family was gathering in the lobby at this point so we could continue to fellowship after the grand occasion. Everyone had changed clothes and wondered why we were still in our wedding gear. They left to meet up with the rest of our family out back, but we were stuck in the lobby waiting instruction, direction, suggestion, something from hotel staff. Finally, a manager appears! He, Moeen Khan, was very nice. He apologized for the inconvenience and kept us abreast of what was happening. They had to have maintenance come and drill the door open. The young lady moved us to another room. However, the accommodations were not the same as what we had in our previous room. They had to move us again. He offered us a drink from the bar while we waited for them to drill open our room. About 11:30/midnight, the door was opened and we were called and told we could come retrieve our items from our first room. So, we had to go pack up and move. By the time we did that and showered and changed, half of our family had retired to their rooms for the evening and we missed the opportunity to fellowship. That was the saddest part of my trip. Otherwise, the gentleman at breakfast, was very nice. He gave us directions to the beach so we could at least take in the oceanfront. I'd stay there again because of the cleanliness and the location it's central to everything, but the hospitality is far from what us northerners expect from southerners.

There was an electrical problem and my sir would not open, not with re programmed keys, not with the master key, nothing. She was annoyed. I'm the one stuck in heels and a gown in the lobby, but she's annoyed. The manager was called and he was nice. He offered me a drink while they had to drill the door open. My family, most of who I hadn't seen in ten years, were gathered to talk and reminisce, but I was stuck missing out on the bonding time. Once the door was open and I got to shower and change, many of our family members had fine on to bed. I was sad to miss so much bonding time.

Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and professional. You didn't have to ask for anything. They anticipated your needs. Location was excellent as well. The only thing I can complain about are the artificial eggs. Which I know aren't artificial, just in a bag. Other than that. Kudos to you!

The hotel is extremely clean, staff was welcoming but not obnoxious, and the features were modern and incredibly up to date. I enjoyed the room with two queen beds and a pull out couch. The room was spacious and the divider in the room gave the "in-suite" effect. Also, the 24/7 cafe with hot food options available throughout the night alleviated having to go out in the below freezing degree temperatures. I would say the only not so pleasantry was the bathroom. While clean and stocked, it did lack space. And one suggestion would be to have some sort of meat on the full continental breakfast. Overall, a great stay and I will be returning.
