We checked in at three p.m. and checked out at 10 p.m. The room was a Queen when we requested a King and the mattress and pillows were flat and terrible. I was shocked to see that there were no utensils, glasses, plates, paper towels, nothing in the unit at an Extended Stay, The sign said to call the front desk if you want any of these items. I called and was told that if I wanted something, I had to come get it. There was no coffee available except from 6 a.m. 9 a.m. in the morning. The sink in the bathroom leaked all over when it was turned on. The vent fan did not work and I was told that no one can take a look until tomorrow. It was Tuesday. There was no lotion provided and just a single shampoo/conditioner. Closet doors were removed and shelf organizers were hung on the wall. The refrigerator door opened the wrong way so attempting to put/get anything was a pain. Overall it felt dirty. I cannot believe that I paid over $350 for that room.

I needed somewhere to stay when my house was getting painted. ESA was one of the very few hotels in san jose that allowed pets. They also were very affordable, The staff were the best joanne, alex and catia all made me feel at home and secure. The only reason for four stars is that the halls are very dark and the place looks a little dirty the staff made up for this issue!
