The history of Pontiac is a long and storied one, dating back to the early days of the United States. I grew up in Pontiac, so I'm biased, but it's really starting to gentrify with good restaurants, like ACRES, and great coffee at the Cup & Scone. I'd love to see Pontiac renovate/reinvent itself even more and add more museums and history. In summer, they should highlight Humiston Woods and other outdoor/nature things too. The recreation center is a great place for an "on the road" workout as well, very cheap. The service is always outstanding as everyone is a local with that small town hospitality.

We ate at David's by the railroad tracks, it has delicious food! Looking forward to eating there again when we are coming to Pontiac again!
Of course, the city of Pontiac was covered in snow but the community of people were very friendly, accommodating and helpful! Great place!!
