Great location for a quick drive to the lake.
Easy access to parks and Lake Michigan
The only place we did go besides the hotel was the Mexican restaurant right beside the hotel. Excellent food and our waiter took really good care of us.
Restaurants downtown were less than stellar, except the Courthouse Pub. A lot of empty storefronts. Have to go to far west side of town to come into the modern era. Manitowoc is just an old, shell of itself from days gone by city. Bike trail to Two Rivers was very modern/nice!
Maritime Museum and river front area is pleasant with some good places to visit.
Manitowoc seemed lovely and the museums are great.
