"Cleanest hotel I've stayed at in years"

Wow! Finally a hotel that doesn't allow pets. And guess what? The cleanest hotel I've stayed at in years. I'm so sick of smelling other peoples pets. Very very clean. No continental breakfast but a small breakfast area where you can prepare your own. Which we did. I will stay here again. Thank you Yellowstone Village Inn for saying no to pets. Sure would be nice if other hotels would follow your lead. Pets don't need a vacation!

"Nice Experience"

I was part of a party of 6 (3 separate rooms). We all enjoyed these accommodations. The rooms and the staff were all nice. Had a nice little coffee/tea room that was sufficient for us (we are not big breakfast eaters anyway). Even having the elk congregate on the front lawn was a nice plus. Thanks..

"Quiet, Clean and Wonderful."

The place was quiet, clean and wonderful the entire time I was there. They had water and coffee out all the time which really made the mornings and afternoons better.

Local Attractions

Yellowstone Park is just across the Yellowstone River which is just across highway 89 that runs in front of the Hotel. Rafting is available within walking distance. The lamar Valley is the only road open in the winter. It is also a premium wildlife viewing, hiking and cross country skiing area. Devil's slide is 3 miles to the North. The boiling river is 3 miles to the South. Here, you can dip in the thermal hot water alongside the edge of the Gardner river. Gardiner is also home to the Heritage Center, which holds the largest archives of Yellowstone history. The Yellowstone Association is also here is Gardiner, this is a non-profit educational association that gives guided tours and lectures about yellowstone and it's animals.
