Both in the location (literally across the street from the Capitol and park) and the staff at The Commonwealth, excellence prevailed. From the valet, Kenny, to the energetic Nico in the restaurant and Michael at the front desk, each was very polite, friendly and especially helpful. The suites are beautifully decorated with a clever theme. With the large rooms, we felt we were in an apartment. We will definitely return to The Commonwealth.

Location, Location, Location - historic boutique hotel reconstructed in 1912 in the heart of downtown, across the street from the State Capitol. Unique and charming spacious rooms that are perfect for individual, families, or group travel. Rueger's full service restaurant and bar onsite. We are located within walking distance to restaurants, museums, shopping, entertainment and more. Bus parking available - hotel will arrange for parking permit with advance notice. Almost 3,000 square feet of functional meeting space - largest room is approximately 900 square feet - to accommodate meetings of as few as 4 people up to meetings and banquets of as many as 75 attendees. Pet friendly hotel - non-refundable fee of $50.00 per pet per night
