"Worst Hotel I Have Ever Stayed In"
Overall Score1.0/ 5
They list the hotel as "pet friendly" when in fact it is only "dog" friendly. I showed up with cats and was allowed to stay only if I agreed they would stay in their crates. When I got the room around back, it was deserted. It looked like they were trying to renovate the place but it was horrible, dark and scary. I moved my car up front. The floor had a hole in it (the floor, not the carpet) that I stuffed towels in to keep things out. Other parts of the flooring were coming up and so it made the floor very uneven. I got one ratty bedspread with holes in it and a threadbare sheet no blankets! The "renovations" were horrible (bad paint, cracks in the plaster, etc.) and the bathroom fan (in the wall) was so filled with dirt and dust that it barely worked. The only reason I stayed the night here is because I had been driving with my cats for four days, I was completely exhausted and I could not find another hotel to rent with the cats on such short notice. When I checked out (at 2:30 a.m. because sleep was impossible) I told the very nice night clerk (who did not rent me the room) that no one should be rented that room in the condition that it was in and he was very nice. No refund, but nice. Needless to say, I would not rent a room there again.
