"BED and BREAKFAST WITH A GREAT LOCATION."
Overall Score4.0/ 5
My spouse and I enjoyed our stay in Charleston at the Andrew Pinckney Inn. We walked everywhere we wanted to go including the waterfront. The shopping area known as The Market can be seen from the front of the hotel. It stretches along Market Street for several blocks. The valet parked our vehicle and that's where it stayed. In lieu of the breakfast buffet, you filled out a form in the evening, chose a time between 7AM and 9:30AM; your breakfast is then delivered to your room the next morning. There are hot selections as well as yogurt, cereal and fruit. Coffee is available at the office all the time; cookies are also available in the afternoon. Between 4PM and 5:30PM there's a wine and cheese selection on the 4th floor where the breakfast is normally served pre pandemic. There's also a small Keurig like coffee pot in your room and you can order coffee pods from your breakfast menu. Employees are gracious, polite and helpful. Maid service is suspended at this point in time; however, if you do need anything which room service provides, you can make your request in the morning. We had room 306 which we found just a little bit tight for two people; we also thought that $30 a night plus tax for parking was quite expensive.

"Southern Hospitality!"
Overall Score5.0/ 5
Lovely historical hotel, with lively little “special touches”. Rooms a great, breakfast was very good considering the limitations due to COVID. Parking was reasonable and saved any hassle. Location was excellent, walking distance to some fabulous eateries and to all the things you might want to see on your first trip to Charleston. Service was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, in particular Nathan. Would definitely stay here again.
