Hello, I want to start off by saying I have been coming to htis property yearly for the past 8 years or so. I have stayed under my name or had a friend book it. I would say that normally, the Howard Johnson of Portsmouth is an excellent, excellent location. The staff, the service, condition of the room, the air conditioning etc etc. it has all, usually, been great. This most recent trip we had an unfortunate experience happen where the toilet overflowed and ruined some clothing. I will say, that happening was horrible BUT the way the staff responded and handled it was ABOVE AND BEYOND! I was so happy with how all things were done and could go on all day raving about it. Robin, but more specifically Tyrone, were excellent. Because of Tyrone, I will 1,000% be back next year and for all future dates. Thank you, Brian.
