Property Description

The Grand Canyon Railway Hotel offers guests comfortable lodging in a picturesque Western setting. Designed to resemble the century-old train depot that housed the original Fray Marcos Hotel, opened by the Santa Fe Railroad as a Harvey House, the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel provides a relaxing retreat before embarking for Grand Canyon National Park. Privately owned and operated, our hotel offers the best the region has to offer and ensures a level of service that is unparalleled. Hints of a bygone era grace the spacious lobby with its signature flagstone fireplace and commissioned oil paintings by local artist Kenny McKenna hang from the walls. Guest rooms are just as inviting - offering a choice between standard rooms or suites. The hotel also has one room reserved for our most special guests - the Rail Baron Suite. The GCR Hotel has all the amenities to make your stay memorable. Enjoy a swim in the indoor pool or throw some horseshoes by the sport courts. Relax with a drink at Spenser's Lounge, or pick up a souvenir at the Depot Gift Shop. Whether you're looking for a romanitc getaway or a rewarding family vacation, the GCR Hotel is your homebase for fun.
