Although many of the historic sites that comprised these communities no longer exist, their connection to Chesterfield offers an interesting history. When to Visit Chesterfield, MO
As a St. Louis suburb, Chesterfield's travel and tourism industry takes its cues from St. Louis, although the visitation figures and prices for services are reduced in Chesterfield compared to St. Louis. Winter is cold and windy in Missouri; during these times of low visitation, you'll be able to find a better deal on a Chesterfield hotel room.
Around Mardi Gras, however, St. Louis hosts a huge celebration that's second in size only to the festivities in New Orleans. You'll find pleasant weather at the end of spring and beginning of fall, plus many area activities to pique your interest.
