This facility needs updating drastically. On the surface it is fine but age has caught up to it. It also needs amenities like a bar and restaurant. These two things are available with a 10 to 15 minute walk. Rumor has it it will be updated soon. We hope they follow through. The staff is very nice.

Property Description

Holiday Inn Capital Plaza Hotel is located in historic downtown Frankfort. We are within easy walking distance of local attractions, shops and restaurants. Our hotel features an atrium lobby with waterfall fountain, indoor pool, sauna, exercise room, restaurant and lounge. We adjoin Fountain Place shops and the Convention Center. We also offer covered underground parking. We offer 9 different sized meeting rooms and can accomodate most meetings. For banquet functions, our ballrooms can hold a maximum of 400 people.
