Camden is a lovely Maine town with beautiful 18th and 19th century architecture. The staff at 16 Bay View in Camden where we spent the night after being thrown out of Country Inn were most gracious and kind. Our little dog ate dinner with us in the hotel lobby. Beautiful harbor location. We highly recommend staying at 16 Bay View when in Camden.
To be fair, we are locals. Camden is almost a fairytale, magical place. So beautiful, town sits directly on the edge of the ocean. Small, warm feeling place. You'll love it.

The waterfront area was picturesque & nice to walk in that area & downtown. Great variety of shops & I had excellent food from The Waterfront Restaurant & The Deli. I also used Paw Print Pet Lodge in Hope for day boarding of my dog. They were sensational. Overall, the coastal ambience was wonderful.

Camden is a great destination any time of year, we love it, recommend schooner ride, hiking, swimming in Lake Megunticook!
