We will probably start going to Holiday Inn Express where the room and service are good but we get a treat on arrival and throughout our stay. We and other travelers really love the special chocolate chip cookies and excellent coffee.
This hotel, just over the railroad tracks and nestled beside a Sam's Club and Lowe's, in the heart of a hotel and restaurant mecca, exceeded expectations in every way: cleanliness, comfort and friendliness of staff. The king bed room was well laid out, with thoughtful use of the space, the bed was comfortable, the window blind truly darkened the room and the bathroom was roomy. Despite proximity to the train, I found my stay remarkably quiet and the location was excellent, with access to the Johns Hopkins facilities at White Marsh and Greenspring and, of course Route 83. The complimentary breakfast in the sunny lobby is an added plus. I have already booked for another stay.
