Whenever possible, we refrain from using water, energy and cleaning products for our daily room checks. Victor's Seehotel Weingärtner has been awarded the GreenSign sustainability certificate.

Local Attractions

Sankt Wendeler Land in the Saar-Hunsrück National Park is the leading tourist region in the Saarland. Just look around, and you'll see why: the varied landscapes, wonderful hiking paths, an excellent network of cycle paths and, last but by no means least, the 120-hectare Lake Bostal attract hundreds of thousands of visitors from near and far every year. But fortunately, you won't notice much of that in the quiet location of our hotel. This region appeals in particular to keen walkers and cyclists. A dozen award-winning premium hiking trails, including the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig which is rated the best long-distance trail in Germany, plus countless well-signposted routes for mountain bikes, e-bikes and racing bikes, criss-cross all over the national park. One of the favourite routes of hotel director Gerold Weingärtner is the "Offizierspfad", the "Officers' Path" between Selbach and Theley, which offers wonderful views and two beer gardens for your refreshment.
