Our room had two queen bed, which were comfortable. Everything has been updated and was lovely.
Arrived at night exhausted after flight from Cincinnati to Boston and then three hour drive to Putney. Greeted at the office by friendly motel owner who gave me key to immaculate room and comfortable bed. Slept soundly until the next morning. Thank you for a wonderful night of rest!
I enjoyed a great stay at the Putney Inn in Putney, VT in July 2025. Everything was perfect in my room (212). Although the Putney Inn is an older hotel/motel, my room had been nicely updated and was very clean. I stayed a week for an oil painting workshop in town and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. My room contained two very comfortable and clean queen beds, table and two chairs, coffee maker, fridge, microwave and large flat screen TV with a good selection of stations. There was an air conditioner/heater in the main room that worked well. The bathroom was clean and spacious with hair dryer, soap, shampoo and conditioner provided and fresh towels and bath mat provided every day. Daily maid service was very good. Each day I felt I returned to a clean, made up and welcoming room. There was also an iron and ironing board provided in the room. The owners were attentive and cheerful with any requests I had. I felt very safe and “at home” the entire week. I would definitely stay at Putney Inn again.
