We had a great time at The Padre. We had a reservation at another hotel in Bakersville originally. When we pulled up, we decided it wasn't our "style." I looked online and found The Padre. Even though it was only one night, it was great. The room was awesome and the restaurant/bar downstairs. Love chatting with the bartenders. Loved the whole experience.
I appreciate the help the staff gives. No matter big or small. And the valet do a wonderful job.
The Padre was very accommodating to us, it's very clean and the staff is so friendly.
I love the Padre and will stay again.

My first time at the Padre.
The Padre was unexpectedly nice. high points included: REally cool Depression era architecture with high ceilings and other artisan based touches rooms were spacious, clean and reasonably well appointed; my bed was comfortable the front desk workers, one of whom was Brady, were pleasant, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful the food at farmacy cafe was quite good, particularly the coffee and the biscuits. when I return to bakersfield, I will stay there again.
