Found this hotel online while searching for a quick getaway with my wife. Thought that the description was interesting. Location for sightseeing was exceptional and so was the hotel. It is 120 years old so we expected some character. The hotel, personal and grounds were very nice.we were not disappointed. Don't expect modern amenities, however you will be very pleased.

Older hotel with upgrades and lovely historic feel.
The Summit Inn is a beautiful place to visit and stay. Was there for a wedding and the food staff and atmosphere was perfect. I loved all the well kept artifact kept. My room was very comfortable and just enough space for us.

Our anniversary go to. Beautiful sunsets, fresh mountain air, a covered wraparound porch where you'll find us with a book, a drink or making new friends. Staff is amazing. making guests comfortable is their goal.
