While the Hotel itself and casino are very nice, what separates this Hotel from others is its top notch staff. Starting with Kelsey at the front check in. My first contact with her was above and beyond what most employees give you. Every morning, I would sit by the fire place having my coffee. I would see and hear her helping customers and actually helping them and her asking what plans they had while visiting Humboldt county. Offering up sites to see and answering Questions. I didn't see this just once, but it was customer after customer. Every one, walking away very happy. Kelsey has such a sincere way of interacting with people that you don't see now days. Nicole took care of a wedding rehearsal dinner for us and she and her crew had the ball room set up beautifully with great food laid out. Then there was Chris that worked in the casino, for security and fills in wherever he is needed. Case in point, he drove a few of us to the after wedding party to “The Barn” and was very friendly. I really enjoyed the security and lot personnel greetings those were fun. Rooms were nice and clean ony thing I would add, is an extra blanket! Otherwise, great experience for the first time staying here.
Room was nice. Friendly staff. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was really good!

Do not gamble went to see the “Avenue of the giants” staff friendly, great hotel room with all amenities. Indoor pool and jacuzzi.
I was most impressed by the staff. Everyone I encountered said hello, was friendly and helpful. My room was a good size with nice furniture. The restaurant and Starbucks were good although they seemed to be short staffed at times. I don't gamble so I can't comment on the casino. I wasn't sure what to expect but I would stay here again.
