Beautiful hotel and only regret was not getting in earlier to enjoy all the hotel offers. We came in from Silverton on the train and spent the night took early train out. Should of gotten to the hotel earlier and enjoyed the wonderful amenities and atmosphere. We will be back soon. Durango is a AWESOME TOWN!
The Strater Hotel was a wonderful experience! The staff was amazing! Very clean, quiet and comfortable rooms! Can't wait to come back!
I enjoyed my being at the Strater; the location, good lighting and fun ambiance. The room entry door is very heavy, so it's difficult to keep the door open when trying to enter with objects in your hands. I could have used a hair drier and I was glad I had brought my own coffee. I liked the easy access to the saloon and activities.
We enjoyed our one night stay very much. Loved seeing this part of the past. The collection of antique walnut furniture was amazing! My husband said he loved both lounges and the entertainment that was provided. Your staff was very friendly. Hope we can make it back that way in the future.
