From entering the hotel to leaving this stay was simply amazing! Each and every staff member was incredibly polite and cheerful. The two ladies in the 1910 Pub that afternoon were simply wonderful. At one point during our conversation, one of them actually said "Thanks for coming to visit our town". Our town; what a breath of fresh air! She was proud of Scranton as she should be. My wife and I took in a movie down the street and walked back to the hotel around 10PM. The street was clean and well lit. A refreshing change compared to other cities of comparable size. The room was fantastic. The Pub was fantastic. Now let me tell you about breakfast! The same to wonderful ladies were at the entrance to greet and seat us. Carl, the cook to order chef was very cheerful and happy to greet us in line. He makes a mean omelet too! The breakfast offerings were enough to satisfy anyone! Typically in a breakfast buffet setting the fruit salad is sad but not here! Fresh and ripe! Well, I'm actually tempted to come back and visit Scranton again just to experience the Hilton once more! Thanks to the entire staff!
