The Roses Heritage Inn consists of two three-storey Heritage buildings with the office and the breakfast room on the top floor of Military Road, a common room with a guest, a light-use kitchen, and a sitting room on the top floor of 11 Military Road. There are two decks overlooking the harbour and city on the top floors of both houses. There is a third deck off the kitchenette on the main floor of house 11. The lower floor rooms are at grade and have south-facing bay windows. We have regularly serviced sprinkler systems, fire escapes, and clearly marked exits for your safety. We do not have an elevator. We have window air conditioners in most rooms or in the halls and windows that open in all rooms. St. John's tends to cool off nicely at night. In 2020 we added air conditioning in the dining room and halls. In the spring of 2020, we added The Jellybean Heritage Inn, which is another fully renovated 6-room, 6-ensuite bathroom Inn with all new beds, a gorgeous backyard with a fire pit. We take pride in our art collection, bedding and period furniture in both locations. We are located across from the Sheraton and within walking distance of all the major downtown attractions, including Signal Hill walking trails. Newfoundland tourism awards us with four stars yearly. A blog posted us as one of the top 5 places in St.John's to have wedding photography due to our beautiful decor. High-speed internet, multi-station TVs or smart TVs, free movie channels and free long-distance in Canada are all included. Parking is free on the street, or the Church parking lot directly across the street sells passes for $10 a night.
