The Lodge is very old and showing its age. BUT, the grounds are lovely, the rooms kept clean, beds and linens very comfy and good quite good. Also, personnel helpful and friendly.
This is our second visit and stay at the lodge. This one was as memorable as the last. Wildlife abounds, deer roaming around and birds singing. The rooms are super clean and roomy. The WiFi is so so, but in all honesty if you are staying at the lodge and worried about being connected, you may have the wrong focus on what's important. This place for for disconnecting from the day to day and reconnecting with nature and your soul! Awesome views, amazing hikes up and down the Drive. We will be back!
