I had an excellent stay. The bed was comfy, the room was very clean and the guy at the desk was pleasant and helpful. I was able to get a first floor room, which I prefer. Good hot water and pressure. I'd stay at any AmericInn I find and surely would stay at this one again.

Our stay was great we had appointments at the Mayo Clinic and the hotel was within 20 minute walk. Quiet interior despite all the construction on the street. Air conditioner was quiet.
Bed and pillows could have Ben more comfortable. Toilet ran for a very long time after flush each time. One window was continuously full of condensation from top to bottom. No designated area for dogs to do their business. It was quiet. The refrigerator and freezer was a nice option! Dove products were nice.
