We came to Lincoln to attend a seminar. While here we toured the Capital Building, very interesting, and was able to say hello to one of the Justices of the Supreme Court. We visited the Sunken Garden and watched a re-stocking of one of the koi ponds. We walked around the Haymarket District, ate at a few restaurants, and did a bit of shopping. We attended adoration, confession and mass at St. Thomas Aquinas church on campus of the University of Nebraska which was very beautiful. A great visit to this small part of our great nation. God bless America!!!

Love the Haymarket. Shopping is definitely geared towards Cornhusker fans. (Fine by me.) But also like some more artsy kind of shops. Most of the shops and restaurants are located up a few steps off the sidewalk but all accessed by ramps for wheelchair users. The city is easy to navigate by alphabetical street names. The Lincoln airport is a dream!! Small, very clean and updated. Parking, drop off and pickup areas are a breeze. Plus only short 15 minute drive into the downtown area.
